The media house is increasing its headquarters space around The Lantern in Euston, and creating a London Campus with new space at nearby Maple House, Tottenham Court Road.

Lazari and Bauer Media worked in partnership to create a single London campus for the media house, bringing its Audio, Outdoor and Publishing operations into the same location, in the heart of central London. The Campus will be the home of major UK brands, such as Greatest Hits Radio, Grazia, Heat, Closer, Take A Break, Magic Radio, Absolute Radio, TV Choice, and KISS, as well as a showcase for creative out-of-home advertising.

The creation of the London campus adds 5,044 sq ft to Bauer Media’s current London headquarters at The Lantern, Euston, NW1, with new client-facing space on the lower ground and basement floors opening out into the base of the atrium, resulting in 52,668 sq ft (NIA) in total plus 5,659 sq ft of outdoor space, and 10,492 sq ft on the second floor at Maple House, 149 Tottenham Court Road.

Adrian Crooks, Head of Leasing at Lazari, said: “Since Bauer Media chose The Lantern as its new headquarters, we’ve worked in partnership, over the last four years to fulfil Bauer’s needs, culminating in the delivery of a new London campus. We have invested in the infrastructure and the technical requirements to support the media house in its future growth, by bringing the businesses together in our portfolio, in the heart of central London.”

The media group reaches over 200 million people through its iconic publishing and audio brands and leading out-of-home advertising business, having completed the acquisition of Bauer Media Outdoor last year. This was a strategic move bring Out of Home advertising and new digital capabilities to the group.

They supported us through the intensely technical logistics of our move into The Lantern in 2022 – from the power and broadcast infrastructure to the specialist sound requirements – and are now connecting Maple House into the same IT framework so both buildings function seamlessly as one campus.”
